Lower Risk Countries
Modest realignment among G-7 countries. Deterioration in UK due to Brexit vote, and in France on fiscal and banking fronts.

Medium Risk Countries
Political crisis abates in Brazil, but fiscal deficits remain a serious concern.  Russian imbalances narrow with higher oil prices, and prospect of softening Western sanctions. Rising political concerns in Poland and South Africa.  Chronic external risks in Turkey; fiscal worries in India.

Argentina showing gradual recovery after resolution of foreign debt issues. Egypt seeks IMF support to stabilize currency / external accounts. Ukraine's problems deepen with ongoing war in East and limited reforms. Venezuela approaches hyperinflation, hoarding, loss of political control.
